This is the time of year when we'd normally be holding our annual Rosé Social. Unfortunately, "social" events of that kind aren't really possible right now. But we still wanted our loyal rosé lovers to have a chance to taste some of these delicious, unique wines.
So this year, in lieu of our Rosé Social, we're offering a self-led tasting of rosé and orange wines, curated by The Community Tap!
First: a little refresher:
What is Rosé Wine? Using red wine grapes, the winemaker very briefly allows the juice to be in contact with the skins, resulting in a light pink wine. The process is very similar to making a typical white wine.
What is Orange Wine? Using white wine grapes, the winemaker allows the juice to be in contact with the skins for an extended amount of time, resulting in an 'orange' wine. The process is very similar to making a typical red wine.
